Why did she make things?

Well, she enjoyed it of course,

But it also helped her somehow

To remember who she was

And where she came from.

Happiness lies in the joy of achievement

And the thrill of creative effort -

And sewing in the company of friends.

I have always had a love of fabrics. In 2016 I qualified in Machine Embroidery (City & Guilds Level 3) at Malvern School of Art and I am a founding member of the Fusion16 Textile Group and a member of the Stitch Cotswold (formerly Cotswold Embroiderers Guild).

I am passionate about creating art using recycled and vintage textiles.  I love to experiment with colour, and I particularly enjoy dyeing fabric with natural plant dyes.  I use these in combination with pieces from old clothes to bring life and love into each piece.

I am available for commissions and creating personal pieces of textile art inspired by photographs for occasions such as weddings & births.
